And the official news agency stated, "Iraq, represented by the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Planning, Maher Johan, signed with the American side, represented by the President of the US Agency for International Development, Alice Janes, the executive agreement for the development goals grant."
She added, "The signing of the agreement took place in the presence of the Minister of Planning, Muhammad Ali Tamim, and the US Ambassador, Elena Romansky."
In turn, Tamim said in a press conference, "Development is the mainstay of relations between Iraq and the United States, and we will move forward towards supporting tracks in accordance with Iraq's development vision 2030, after the relations between the two countries witnessed a lot of development based on common interests in many fields and at the forefront of them." economic fields.
He pointed out that "our meeting today comes in celebration of the joint signing of the executive agreement for the development goals grant between the Republic of Iraq, represented by the Ministry of Planning, and the United States of America, represented by the US Agency for International Development."
