After midnight, the demonstrators began to remove the first security barrier over the al-Jumhuriya bridge leading to the Green Zone. They gathered near the first gate of the Green Zone.

Samson:  The Interior Ministry announces that about 70 security personnel were injured in the demonstrations

The Interior Ministry announced on Friday the injury of about 70 members of its security forces during the protests in the capital Baghdad and a number of other provinces with a Shiite majority.

"The forces that dealt with the demonstrators are the law-enforcement forces exclusively," ministry spokesman Khalid al-Muhanna said.

He added that "the number of casualties among the security forces reached 68," adding that "cooperation between the security forces and demonstrators help us diagnose engineers." "We do not interfere in determining where to demonstrate and our mission is to protect demonstrators anywhere in the country's provinces," he said.

As of Friday noon, two demonstrators were killed and dozens injured, including security personnel and journalists, after tear gas was fired to disperse protesters from entering the Green Zone.   LINK

The Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights, the number of victims of the demonstrations today, Friday, martyrs and wounded.

UNHCR has documented the following:

1. The number of martyrs of demonstrators has risen to (2) due to suffocation cases.

2. The number of injured persons increased to (966) in Baghdad governorate, including (884) injured demonstrators, (82) security forces, (e) injuries in Maysan province of demonstrators, and (3) injuries in Muthanna province, including (2) security forces. The total number of injuries (974) mostly cases of suffocation due to the use of tear gas.

3 - Burning the headquarters of Asaib and the stream of old wisdom and the Dawa Party and the Bashaer movement and the Virtue Party and Badr organization in the province of Muthanna, burning the headquarters of the Dawa party in the province of Wasit and storming the house of the governor of Wasit, and burning the province of Dhi Qar by demonstrators.

4. The use of rubber bullets and tear gas by the security forces to disperse the demonstrators in Tahrir Square.

5. Thousands of demonstrators gather in front of the governorates of Wasit, Najaf, Diwaniya, Dhi Qar, Maysan, Basra, Muthanna and security forces to prevent them from entering.

Samson:  Secretariat of the Council of Ministers : some reform packages will be included in the budget 2020

The General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers, on Wednesday, to include some reform packages in the draft budget 2020, especially the appointment file, indicating that some were funded from the emergency budget and the Central Bank.

"The reform packages launched by the Prime Minister have been divided in terms of funding and implementation," General Secretariat spokesman Haider Majeed told Al-Maalouma.

He added that "some packages funded from the emergency budget in the 2019 budget and others through the central bank government banks."

He explained that "some of the decisions in the government reform packages will be included in the draft budget 2020 with continued and large funding," noting that "the addition of appointments will be among them."   LINK
