CharlieOK:  The tricky Iraqis/ptb might wait until midnight to buy more time before the intel gets out. If no publication today, it is next Wed at the earliest. (Since nothing ever happens early in Iraq, I don't expect any "special edition" either_.

RVALready:  From what I remember of last waiting for a gazette article, it comes out very late. They cannot make mistakes publishing laws.

Jambie67:  We knew that the Iraqi president ratified (approved) the budget this past week and returned it so that the white paper reforms could be implemented and the budget could become law when published in their Gazette (which doesn’t appear to be a daily newspaper but rather a law recording publication). No one has found any telling news for today, April 10, 2021, thus far. We wait. Let’s get out and enjoy our Saturday! Happy days are here again, so be encouraged and joyful!

Selah:  I was personally never convinced that the rate was in the budget. I'm pretty sure that all they would need to do is a quick Amendment for what we all want to see. the rate is in the white papers and all the rest that go with that….Now, it's just a matter of timing. it's now up to the CBI and whoever pulls their strings.

RVALready:  I think we will be at the bank before we see a public announcement from the CBI…. I think they will fly our exchange under the radar as much as possible

CaliforniaSugar:  The Official Iraqi Gazette, also called AL-Waqi'A, is published by the Ministry of Finance. You have read from Teapot for translation of what was published. Possibly, budget was included. Yes, we have to wait for CBI.
