Kaperoni Wilder I don't believe in a LOP Wilder I'm just saying that the recent articles from Parliament where they're talking about removing the zeros is a LOP. If you look at other countries for example Iran they just passed a law in their Parliament to remove zeros. That would be the only reason for Parliament to be involved in monetary policy
Kaperoni And I don't think the CBI has any intent to let Parliament get involved in monetary policy

John I understand that the IQD is difficult to counterfeit?
Kaperoni I can't really prove this other than the fact that I have some friends that are high level in the banking industry. But I find it comical let the guru's keep talking about going to the bank to cash out.
Because people that I know that are in the banks tell me banks are conservative in nature and will probably be last to bringing the dinar into their portfolio of exchangeable currencies because of the risk.
Kaperoni So I think if the dinar is ever cashed out it'll be cashed out through the same dealers that's sold it or brokerage firms that choose to participate
Zig Kaperoni : If banks see a chance to profit greatly with the spreads IMO they will jump in.....maybe not at the very beginning but soon after............
Kaperoni Zig, all you need to do is look at other emerging markets and whether or not Banks deal in them. Most do not because of the risk. But I would assume you're right if the spread is enough they might but then again if the spread is huge who's going to cash out?

Kaperoni And to be honest that's partially why I believe that they will float the currency. Because then brokerage firms can get involved and you can deposit your dinar in dinar denominated accounts and watch it grow over time. Making transactions as needed

Kaperoni I think it's all ridiculous to even talk about it until the dinar is internationally accepted. Only then well we really know what is available as options to exchange it. And any of the guru nonsense about thing on a list, cashing out of the bank etc is all Bs

Whitelions hummm if you can only cash in where you bought your dinar what are all the people going to if the place you got no longer exists and if the banks arn't going to cash out your dinar how are the countrys of the world going to deal with dinar on a working baises ?Kap is speaking with out thinking or reasurching again.

Baxter I believe that any bank that exchanges foreign currency... IF they want to... will cash this out just like any other recognized international currency.. not all banks exhange foreign currency at all

Kaperoni Whitelions has a tendency to make up things and say that I said it. At no time in any of my messages did I ever say that you could only cash in at the place that you bought your currency.
That's the problem people take Liberty at what you say and make it sound like you said it when you didn't and it's not right. If she's going to quote me she should quote me accurately

Kaperoni You see it's easy to read one article and say this article is implying it's going to RV but then you look at the broader picture and you can't justify what needs to occur for such an event to happen that's why I could shut down.
For example an overnight RV could never occur for two major reasons why there's too much dinar in circulation that would have to be reduced significantly and some kind of mythical overnight RV contradicts the principles of the CBI itself and how it makes money
Kaperoni It also contradicts with the principles of the CBI in its tools to combat inflationary pressure. So again for example there could never be a significant RV because he would take me like taking all of the tools away from the CBI that it needs in order to manage the economy and keep the currency stable
Kaperoni Central banks are very complicated and they have a tremendous amount of tools at their possession an RV is like just throwing it all out the window
Kaperoni And lastly do you have any idea of the chaos that would cause and Iraq if all the sudden significantly the currency went up overnight? That is as important as the money supply you just would find out it can't happen

Kaperoni Articles and documents over the years and certainly there are documents that talk about raising the value but I don't think I've ever seen one where they said it would happen overnight. The only people who are talking about something happen overnight are the gurus

foxmulder when they decide to make a change in their policy we will see , the issue is international correct ... traded on the Forex just as any other currency and commodity
Kaperoni foxmulder in some capacity I'm sure that is their intent I don't know if it can go on Forex initially but interbanking is certainly the possibility, the CBI has stated that themselves that they are working towards that but we'll have to wait and see when they accept Article VIII what happens

Wilder Kaperoni seems like an alright guy to me. That link I posted was not because of the names mentioned but Kaperoni and this John Jagerson have similar thoughts on this adventure right or wrong. I can't argue it either way.
