Basically the banks are not liquid and My thoughts are they anticipating this revaluation…this reset is about to happen...I see this as the banks have no cash that they need to pay out for the exchanges.
So they hit the Fed up for cash to pay us…to pay out so it’s not on their balance sheets…it’s on the Fed’s. They have been hitting the Fed for the last 3 days and I feel they will hit them up for more so they can pay out all the SKR’s and contract needs. It’s another way to force the issue.

Dj I know most of you been doing this a long time, so sorry if my questions are repetitive, if the CBI revalues the dinar by dropping the 3 zeros, then exchanging the old dinar with new ones, then setting the valve to match a country like Kuwait, then the 42trillion in dinar that kaperoni was talking about would be 42 billion times the new rate?

Kaperoni I just said yesterday that there could never be a single overnight event because the money supply is too high. And if there was going to be a single overnight event it would have to be a lop in which Parliament would have to be involved
Kaperoni But if I am right and they float the currency to support the launch of the market economy then we'll see the dinar appreciate gradually over time and don't ask me how fast because it's directly related to how fast investors an investment come into Iraq

This caused the DOW to drop late this afternoon and metals to go up. Meanwhile, Mahdi's in China making deals. It's getting interesting with all these moving parts that are connected......

Iraq has been planning a redenomination for years but the plan has never made much progress. As part of the plan they must decide the format for the small denominations, coins, notes or a combination.
The plan need to be complete before it can be part of the Bill put before parliament. A redenomination cannot happen overnight and in the case of Iraq we all know how difficult it is to get anything approved, and once it is it would be something in the order of 18 months to 2 years to implement. One thing is certain it is not going to be anytime soon.

So much for someone that claims to only listen to the CBI. This is an opinion piece and the first sentence says it all,"The Iraqi citizen would like to see".
You should try and understand rather than just quote "the process of raising zeros will contribute to the revaluation of the currency". Of course a redenomination will revalue the monetary unit, by changing the currency from one currency to another of a higher value.
