Baghdad- Iraq today: Former MP Jassim al-Bayati ruled out passing the government on time, saying: "There is room for negotiations for the participation of all in the parliamentary session and the passage of the government before March 3."
"There is a big difference around the ministerial booth, and a lot of Shiite mPs do not want to form a government without the participation of other components," al-Bayati said in a press statement.
"The formation of the government may be postponed until March 3, and there is room for negotiation and satisfaction of all components to ensure the passage of the ministerial cab," he said.

Baghdad:Al-Fatah mp Hanin al-Qaddo revealed wednesday that coalition chairman Hadi al-Ameri intervened to "heal the rift" between Prime Minister-designate Mohammed Tawfiq Allawi and Sunni and Kurdish political forces in order to pass the government tomorrow, pointing out that the names of Allawi's cabin sat in parliament so far.
"Fatah alliance chairman Hadi al-Ameri is currently holding consultations with Mohammed Tawfiq Allawi to bridge the rift between Allawi and Sunni and Kurdish political forces and involve them in the next government in order to pass the Government of Barihia," al-Qaddo said.
"Prime Minister-designate Mohammed Tawfiq Allawi has not yet sent parliament a list of candidates for his ministerial office," he said, adding that "Allawi may change the names of the candidates in order to be accepted more by the political

Baghdad: A member of parliament from the Coalition of The Walking To The Peace of Al-Shammari coalition confirmed wednesday that there was a political consensus within parliament to pass the government of Prime Minister-designate Mohammed Tawfiq Allawi.
"The situation in the country does not tolerate any new crises," al-Shammari said in a statement, adding that "the failure to vote on the ministerial cab within the constitutional period will plunge the country into another crisis."
"There is a political consensus within the Parliament to pass the cab and give it confidence in order to work to implement the demands of the street and the authority to prepare for the early elections," al-Shammari said.

Baghdad- Iraq today: Prime Minister-designate Mohamed Allawi revealed via Twitter that the vote on the government cabin will be on Thursday, adding that the country will turn the "page of the quota" tomorrow.
"Tomorrow, God willing, the vote will be on the first cabin of competent and honest independent candidates, who will restore the people's right and Iraq's prestige," Allawi wrote.
"Tomorrow is the time to meet the honorable members of the House of Representatives who have stood up to the great challenges with the people who resisted killing and repression," he said.
"Tomorrow, tomorrow, together, a people, deputies, candidates and national political forces, we will turn the page on the quota and look forward to a free, strong and fatherly Iraq," Allawi said.
