Energy   Economy News - Baghdad:   The Ministry of Electricity announced that it has taken several measures that benefited more than 57,000 people through their employment on permanent owners, contracts and daily wages.

Ministry of Electricity spokesman Ahmed Moussa said the Ministry of Electricity had transferred 33,403 contract holders to permanent owners, noting that 8,700 people had been transferred from wages to contracts.

He confirmed that the departments of the Ministry of Electricity attracted 15,800 people working on daily wages. http://economy-news.net/content.php?id=18267

Economy News _ Baghdad   Iran's customs service said Tuesday that exports of non-oil goods to the Uae and Iraq touched $8 billion in seven months, from March 21 to October 22, 2019.

Customs data showed that Iraq was the second largest importer of Iranian goods in the period with $5.173 billion and 21.2 percent of total export, while the UAE came third with a share of 11.4 percent and 2.784 billion dollars, with China leading the list with $6.1 billion and 24.9 percent.

Turkey ranked fourth on the list with $2.672 billion, 10.95 percent, and Afghanistan fifth with $1.283 billion and 5.26 percent.

Iran's total merchandise exports in the seven months amounted to $24.407 billion, down 11.3 percent and 17.07 percent higher than the corresponding period in 2018. http://economy-news.net/content.php?id=18266
