TWWIII chattels I understand that Iraq promised Kuwait to revalue their currency & did not. So the countries/companies never gave what they desired, no 88M$. They really let Kuwait down & the others involved. Kuwait tried to work with Iraq on how they RI'd their currency in 1991 but left on deaf eyes. Kuwait's currency went from 0.05usd to 3.48usd.
chattels TWWIII I have not thought that there was any correlation between the Kuwaiti and Iraqi dinar since the first year that I was invested in the IQD. The post war resurgence of the Kuwaiti dinar and the " planned " currency reform in Iraq is apples and oranges in comparison to one another. IMO.
