Goldilocks continues today with lots of news and comments to help with understanding what is happening this month:

Zimbabwe has just moved into a trade liberalization policy. This reduces barriers to trade among countries such as tariffs and quotas. 

Reducing barriers to trade lowers the cost of goods sold in importing countries. 

Zimbabwe has just enacted a monetary policy that gives them more purchasing power. It increases the demand for their currency, and this demand will increase its value.

Zimbabwe has also devalued it's current currency exchange rate. 

This announcement has came during a time of a currency crisis that required an intervention.  

They decided to set up new mechanisms of trade stating they would sell hard currency 

“at the market-determined exchange rate." 

This moves them off of a predetermined exchange rate and on to a new exchange rate based upon the demand for their currency. 

These new prices will evolve into new price action patterns and be supported by the gold they hold extending their net worth.

Central bank to announce new monetary policy soon."

Bangladesh is adopting a similar policy as Zimbabwe whereby they are going to allow the market to determine their new currency exchange rates.

They went on to say that this new change is expected to come in July. 

Do you see a pattern taking place yet regarding SOFR lending services and how it will transform monetary policies regarding exchange rates going forward?

"US House to Provide Clarity on the Digital Asset Ecosystem"

Congress has a draft with bipartisan support of the Democrats and the Republicans on Stablecoins. It will now move forward into the legislative process.

This will provide direction for a new digital asset-based trading system allowing for a standardized approach to international trade and exchange rates.
