Samson:  Democrat: The Baghdad government did not care about Article 140 from 2005 until today

3rd August, 2020

On Monday, Kurdistan Democratic Party member Imad Bajlan affirmed that the implementation of Article 140 of the constitution is no less important than the federal government's steps to fight corruption and reform, while noting that the Baghdad government did not care about the article since 2005 until today.

Baglan said in an interview with Alsumaria News, that "the Kurdistan Region is ready for understanding and solving problems with Baghdad in accordance with the constitution and constitutional frameworks for a long time and not now."

Baglan added, "The successive governments in Baghdad were not ready to launch them to find a solution to the issue of the disputed areas. Today, too, we find the government preoccupied with other matters, and does not focus on implementing Article 140 despite its importance and being comparable to the importance of any step taken by the government in fighting corruption and reform."

Pointing out that "the disputed areas were deprived of many things, such as services, appointments, and other matters, not to mention the existence of ISIS cells that are active from time to time, not to mention the fact that their residents tasted the two things from the state of neglect of their conditions."

Baglan stressed that "the governments of Baghdad and Erbil should work quickly to resolve Article 140 and monitor and oversee the United Nations, but unfortunately very much, the Baghdad government did not care about this article since 2005 until today."  LINK

TSM:  And we wonder why we are still here..... lol.... this pretty well says it all.... 15 yrs. to implement something that was already more or less agreed upon...

TNT:

Mot:   A group of students were asked to list what they thought were the present "Seven Wonders of the World." Though there were some disagreements, the following received the most votes:

1. Egypt's Great Pyramids
2. Taj Mahal
3. Grand Canyon
4. Panama Canal
5. Empire State Building
6. St. Peter's Basilica
7. China's Great Wall

While gathering the votes, the teacher noted that one quiet student hadn't turned in her paper yet. So she asked the girl if she was having trouble with her list.

The girl replied, "Yes, a little. I couldn't quite make up my mind because there were so many."

The teacher said, "Well, tell us what you have, and maybe we can help."

The girl hesitated, then read, "I think the 'Seven Wonders of the World' are:

1. to see
2. to hear
3. to touch
4. to taste
5. to feel
6. to laugh
7. and to love."

The room was so quiet you could have heard a pin drop.
