Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kazemi arrived in Paris on Sunday, as part of his scheduled European tour.
The official channel stated, in a news reported by "People" (October 18, 2020) that "Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kazemi arrived in Paris at the beginning of his European tour." Al-Kazemi went to the French capital, Paris.
Al-Kazemi's media office stated, in a statement, that "People" received a copy, (October 18, 2020), that “the Prime Minister, Mustafa Al-Kazemi, left this afternoon, the capital, Baghdad, heading to the French capital, Paris, at the start of his European tour. That also includes Britain and Germany. "
The statement added that "Al-Kazemi is accompanied, on his European tour, by a high-ranking government delegation that includes a number of ministers and heads of independent bodies."
He pointed out that "Al-Kazemi will hold several meetings with senior officials in these three countries, and discuss with them on developing bilateral relations, and ways to enhance joint cooperation between Iraq and their countries in various fields, especially economic, security and health, as well as discuss the latest developments on the regional and international arenas."
In turn, Amer Al-Fayez, a member of the Parliament's Foreign Relations Committee, said, "Al-Kazemi's European tour at this time is very important for Iraq, especially given the economic, financial, health and even security crises it faces."
Al-Fayez added, in a press statement, that "Iraq cannot overcome these crises, except through international support. That is why Al-Kazemi's visit to the three European countries aims to obtain support in the field of economy and investment, as well as security, military, and even health support, to confront an epidemic." Pimpy ...I cannot tell you why there is so much movement between governments that involve the purchasing of Iraqi dinar. We don't know why but what I can tell you is when I tell you that governments are buying Iraqi dinar they are buy BUYING Iraqi dinar! ...There's a lot of countries that are buying it for some reason. There's rumors that it's going to be the "poor man's" reserve dollar... there's no real "where are we?" It's kind of really up in the air. But IMO it can't stay this low in value. It's impossible. It just can't function this way.
