Butterfly   The Framework Announces The Move Towards Collecting Parliamentary Signatures To Change The Dollar Exchange Rate

Economic Last Update 02/02/2022 | 11:23 AM  The deputy of the coordination framework, Ibtisam Al-Hilali, revealed, on Tuesday, the framework’s move to collect parliamentary signatures to restore the dollar exchange rate to its previous rate, surprising at the government’s insistence on maintaining the exchange rate, especially with the recovery of oil markets during the past weeks.

Al-Hilali said in a statement to "The Information", "The coordination framework is moving towards collecting parliamentary signatures in order to restore the exchange rate of the dollar against the Iraqi dinar or reduce its current price."

She added that "the framework's movement in this regard is still continuing until the will of the Iraqi people, who were affected by the high exchange rate of the dollar, is achieved," noting that "the government raised the exchange rate in order to supplement the 2012 budget, and now it has obtained additional funds due to the high oil price."

And the representative of the State of Law coalition, Firas Al-Maslmawi, confirmed in a previous statement, that his coalition and a number of members of Parliament within the same direction will not allow the budget to be passed for the current year except after a reduction in the dollar exchange rate against the dinar. https://almaalomah.me/2022/02/01/579838/

butterfly   Al-Fath: Al-Kazemi’s Government Is Working To Raise The World Bank’s Reserves Of Iraq’s Oil!

02/02/2022 | 3:55 PM    A member of the Al-Fateh Alliance, Ali Hussein, confirmed, on Wednesday, that the outgoing and expired government of Mustafa Al-Kazemi is working to increase the World Bank’s stockpile only from oil revenues of more than 8 billion dollars per month.

Hussein told the “Information” agency, “What is happening in Iraq is the opposite of all the data and cases of economic recovery. During this period, especially, the country has more than 31 percent below the poverty line, and this is a big problem,” noting that “there is unorganized and non-political work due to planning.” Clinically dead or finished, we do not have any planning in any economic field.”

He added, “The current government should take advantage of the period of economic recovery through the rise in global oil prices to more than 90 dollars per barrel and work, with the first step, to return the price of the dollar to what it was previously,” noting that “Al-Kazemi’s government is working to increase the World Bank’s stocks only.” From oil revenues amounting to more than 8 billion dollars per month.”

Hussein explained, “In all times and international systems, there is an annual plan, five-year plan, and a decimal plan. Either the Iraqi Ministry of Planning has not yet developed the annual plan!”

The Ministry of Oil had said, earlier, that last month’s revenues amounted to more than 8 billion dollars

butterfly   The street or the reference.. The framework is waving one of the two options for the inauguration of Al-Maliki as Vice President of the Republic

2022-02-02 02:50   Shafaq News/ The coordination framework forces agreed, on Wednesday, to continue their deliberative meetings regarding the initiative of Democratic Party leader Massoud Barzani, as well as determining the framework’s final destination regarding participation in the next government or not.

A source from the coordination framework, told Shafak News Agency, that “the leaders of the coordination framework forces are also looking to determine the final position regarding participation in the next government, amid the insistence of the leader of the Sadrist movement to exclude an important component of the framework’s components, which is (the rule of law).”

The source added, “The framework forces identified one of their most important demands, which is to grant the position of Vice President of the Republic in favor of the leader of the state of law, Nuri al-Maliki, as the most important guarantees that the framework is looking for, as well as not to prejudice the institution of the Popular Mobilization, or to restructure it under any name, in addition to not prejudice With the leaders of the armed factions, which played a major role in liberating the western provinces from the control of the terrorist Daesh.

He explained that “the meetings in view of the foregoing will continue until the day of the parliament session to vote on the candidate for the president of the republic,” expressing his hope that “a meeting between the framework and al-Sadr will be determined in the coming days to negotiate directly and talk about the most important demands between the two Shiite poles.” .

butterfly   And the source continued in the coordinating framework: “If our demand for the inauguration of Al-Maliki as Vice President of the Republic is achieved, the knot of dispute will be resolved and things will proceed smoothly to form the national government,” adding:

“If the negotiations stumble and the matter remains as it is, it may be possible to move the street to pressure towards Unifying the Shiite house, as well as knocking on the doors of reference for the second time, or resorting to another paper that may constitute pressure towards resolving matters.”

The last coordination framework meeting continued, until dawn on Wednesday, after controversy intensified due to different visions and the lack of available options, in light of an existing dispute with the leader of the Sadrist movement, Muqtada al-Sadr, less than a week before a critical session of the Iraqi parliament to choose a president for the country, and then assign a candidate to form a new government.

The Iraqi parliament is scheduled to hold a session, the second of its legislative life, next Monday, in which it chooses the president.

Most of the odds indicate that Hoshyar Zebari, the candidate of the Kurdistan Democratic Party, will be president of the republic, and that the latter will assign the Sadrist bloc’s candidate to form the Iraqi government.

In terms of numbers, the tripartite alliance (Al-Sadr, the Democratic Party and the Sovereignty) constitutes about two-thirds of the parliament’s members, as the Sadrist bloc has 73 seats, the Democratic Party has 31, and the Sovereignty Alliance has 67 seats, bringing a total of 171 seats out of a total of 329 deputies. shafaq.com

Dave   171 seats.......more than enough.......
