butterfly   Salim Hamza to / Nina /: Refusal to ratify the election results or any other decision that will drag the country into chaos

Sunday 26 December 2021 Former parliament member Salim Hamza confirmed: "Rejecting the decision to ratify the election results or any other decision will drag the country into chaos, destruction and internal fighting."

He said in a statement to the National Iraqi News Agency / NINA /: "The winning political blocs with the approval of the Federal Court of the election results very quickly, and the court does not have more time to preserve its independence by approving the results after the end of consideration of the appeals and complaints submitted to it."

Hamza added: "Now we are faced with two options, either accept the results after approval or reject them, and if the non-winning blocs choose rejection, they have nothing in front of them but destruction, chaos and internal fighting."

He expressed his belief that the Shiite house blocs do not want chaos, because they are the biggest losers of any negative steps after the ratification of the election results or any other steps taken by the court if the court decides other matters.

Tomorrow, the Federal Supreme Court is scheduled to announce its decision on the lawsuit submitted to it regarding the annulment of the election results. https://ninanews.com/Website/News/Details?key=946932

butterfly  The Minister’s Statements Are Exciting And Desperate

12/26/2021 | 3:34 PM   Finance Minister Ali Abdul-Amir Allawi, who insisted on the reform paper embodied in the white paper to advance the economic, banking and financial reality and what this study contained of the increase in the dollar exchange in exchange for the decline in the price of the Iraqi dinar and its impact on the life of the citizen, today we are told by miserable and exciting statements about the possibility of laying off all Iraqi state employees 10 years later.

With his statement, he confirms the failure of his plan, which is supposed to last five years and reflect positively on the future of the Iraqi economy, the stability of the currency, and the success of financial plans for Iraq to recover, get rid of crises, and revive its economy according to what was planned. Despite its bad decisions to raise the exchange rate of the dollar, which raised all prices, and increased the rates of poverty and unemployment.

Mr. Abdul-Amir Allawi, Minister of Finance, who promised us good, prosperity, crisis resolution, and the recovery of the Iraqi economy in his white paper officially announces the failure of his white paper project, which means the failure of his economic project despite the availability of financial liquidity due to the increase in oil prices and the payment of Kuwait’s debts, and he was the first to propose an alternative project for oil revenues To find an alternative economy to supplement the budget in the future as long as it believes that countries will abandon the source of energy and turn to other sources.

butterfly   Did the Iraqi Minister of Finance present a paper on his future vision for the fate of energy and the economy in Iraq, or was his talk just expectations away from the research methods presented in closed elite scientific conferences?

The minister should not speak like this because his life in the government has ended and all members of his government are under the principle of conducting business only, and he will not be present after ten years until he expects to lay off the employees.

One of the primary responsibilities of the caretaker government is to send messages of reassurance away from the citizen’s fears and spread hope.. through its discourse, and for future governments to work on finding well-thought-out projects and programs that will benefit Iraq’s budget on the one hand and absorb the labor force on the other hand, and not spread terror and confusion within opinion. General as did the caretaker government finance minister.   almaalomah.me

butterfly   A legal presents a new opinion on the coordination framework lawsuit before the Federal

2021-12-26 07:26   Shafaq News/ The legal expert, Jamal Al-Asadi, presented today, Sunday, a new opinion regarding the fate of the coordination framework lawsuit regarding the recent parliamentary elections before the Federal Court, referring to recommendations that the latter might issue.

Al-Asadi told Shafaq News Agency, “The case of the coordination framework regarding the elections before the Federal Court will logically be rejected, because the Federation does not have the authority to engage in technical matters related to the elections for which the Independent High Electoral Commission itself is responsible.”

And he stated, “The Federal Court is constitutionally only obligated to ratify the election results, and when it checks these results, it has the right to refuse to certify some of the names for not fulfilling their conditions, so it sends them back to the commission for the purpose of completing them, as happened in the 2014 and 2018 elections.”

And about canceling the results of some stations or recounting the others, Al-Asadi said, “It is not within the powers of the Federal Court to cancel the results of some stations or demand their recount, but it can ask or inquire from the Independent High Electoral Commission about some of the things that marred the electoral process.”

He continued, “If the federal government considers that there is a need for a recommendation, it directs the commission to review what it deems necessary to review and correct it before approving the election results.”

butterfly   Supreme Court cannot request a recount of the ballots, legal expert says 2021-12-26 11:25

Shafaq News/ The expert in Iraqi law, Jamal al-Asadi, on Sunday said that the Supreme Federal Court does not have the authority to request a recount of the ballots.

In a statement to Shafaq News Agency, al-Asadi said, "the lawsuit of the Coordination Framework before the Supreme Federal Court will definitely be dismissed because the Court does not have the powers to engage in the technicalities of the election. This is a prerogative of the Independent High Electoral Commission (IHEC)."

"Constitutionally, the Supreme Federal Court can either ratify or dismiss the election results. It can refuse the ratification of some names if they do not meet the qualifications. In this case, it can refer the issue again to IHEC, as it did in 2014 and 2018."

"Similarly, the Court cannot annul the results of some Electronic Voting Machines (EVMs). It can ask IHEC about the irregularities that tainted the polls."

"If the Court detected Irregularities, it can raise a recommendation about it."

In a statement to Shafaq News Agency, the appellant lawyer, Mohammad al-Saedi, said, "the court will convene tomorrow on Monday to issue the verdict."

butterfly  "The C1000 system is the main argument in the case, given it was used without a contract and it serves as a data manager, encryptor, and decoder, beside its role in presenting the results," he explained.

"The Court will issue its verdict tomorrow. It is unknown until the moment. It can be annuling the results or dismissing the complaint," the counseler concluded.

The expert in Iraqi law, Tariq Harb, expected that the Supreme Federal Court will dismiss the complaint filed by al-Ameri to annul the October 10 election results.

Harb said in a statement to Shafaq News Agency, "the court recently dismissed a complaint filed by the candidate who won a seat in al-Muthanna Basem Khashan and other candidates to demand the reinstatement of dissolved parliament."

"For this reason, I think that the court will dismiss the complaint filed by al-Ameri to abolish the election results. Its ruling will be unappealable."

"Afterwards, the court will ratify the election results," he said.

The Supreme Federal Court will issue on Monday its verdict in the lawsuit al-Fatah alliance had filed to annul the October 10 election results.

A source told Shafaq News Agency that the court will convene on 26/12/2021 to announce its ruling after completing the hearing and trial procedures.

The leader of al-Fatah alliance, Hadi al-Ameri, reiterated his rejecting position in his testimony before the court today.

There will be no postponement in resolving the case or issuing a decision regarding it, because the court has set the date for the ruling, but the official holiday postponed the pronouncement of the verdict."

butterfly  He added: "The decision to be issued by the Federal Court will be binding on everyone and is not subject to appeal, given that the decisions of the Federal Court are binding and irrevocable," noting that: "a lot of evidence and documents have been submitted that prove the lack of integrity in the electoral process, and for this we expect to issue a decision from the Federal Court." regarding the announced results.

According to Al-Zawraa, the Coordination Framework’s lawyer suggested: “The Federal Court will issue a decision to cancel the results of some stations and conduct manual counting and sorting operations for other stations to detect fraud and manipulation operations according to the evidence contained in the lawsuit of the Al-Fateh coalition blocs,” stressing: “The court’s decision will be professional.” Without any pressure, the court's decision will be both respectful and binding on us."

And the newspaper continued, "A leader in the coordination revealed an upcoming meeting between Al-Sadr and Al-Amiri in Al-Hanana, to discuss the upcoming benefits."

butterfly  The leader, who the newspaper said refused to reveal his name, said: "The scheduled meeting will be held during the next few days, to be a meeting between the coordination framework and the Sadrist bloc."

He pointed out: "The coordination leaders divided the tasks of negotiating with the winning forces in the elections on three axes. The first is negotiating with the Kurdish forces to agree on a consensual formula that fulfills the demands, or meets the wishes of all parties, in a way that achieves the interest of the country in general."

He added, "The second axis is to negotiate and discuss with all Sunni forces to reach future understandings and ensure their support for the framework's directions, while the other axis will focus its tasks on negotiating with al-Sadr and his leaders in the bloc."

As for Al-Mashreq newspaper, it talked about the expected date for the new parliament to hold its first session.

She pointed to the words of legal expert Tariq Harb: "The Federal Court did not override the Constitution in the process of postponing the sessions."

Harb was quoted as saying: "The delay that occurred before her was for the purpose of examining and examining the appeals submitted by the coordination framework."

He added, "The appeals are not easy, and the court will announce its decision regarding the election results on the 27th of this month."

And the legal expert stated: "The first session of Parliament will be on January 2, 2022, and will be headed by the oldest winners, and it will be devoted to the winners taking the constitutional oath to be representatives in the House of Representatives in its new session."

26 Dec 21, 06:46 PM butterfly   And Al-Mashreq continued, "Despite this optimism, the coordination framework expected that the Federal Supreme Court would issue a decision to cancel electoral stations and recount other elections today, Monday, based on the lawsuit filed against the election results by the leader of the Al-Fateh Alliance Hadi Al-Amiri."

The leader in the coordination framework, Ahmed Abdul-Hussein, said, according to the newspaper: "The approval of the election results by the Federal Court will not take place without resolving the evidence presented by the Al-Fateh coalition, and we are waiting for the decision that will be issued today." https://ninanews.com/Website/News/Details?Key=947039
