Tishwash:  Iraq Plans To Produce Solar-Powered Inverters And Pumps

The General Company for Electrical Industries revealed, on Saturday, efforts to produce solar-powered transformers and pumps within medium and long-term plans.

The company's general manager, Sufian Fawzi Al-Jubouri, said in a statement that "the shift towards the use of renewable energy in the local industry represents an important stage, as the company plans, within the medium and long term, to rely on new machines and machines with high quality specifications that are environmentally friendly."

Al-Jubouri added, "The shift towards renewable energy will also include production lines, through the manufacture of electrical transformers and solar-powered pumps," explaining that "these plans will be implemented gradually to include all factories affiliated with the company   link

Tishwash: Al-Ittihad: The Citizens Of Kurdistan Are Waiting For Their Conditions To Improve, Away From Slogans

A member of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan, Sherzad Samad, complained, on Saturday, about the persistence of domination and corruption in the Kurdistan region, noting that the people of the region are waiting for their conditions to improve, away from slogans.

Samad said in an interview seen by "The Information", that "there is a deterioration in the social conditions of employees, lack of salaries, and disruption of service projects, in conjunction with mismanagement, rampant corruption, Erbil's dominance over political decisions and the monopoly of power.
Samad added, "Citizens are waiting for any decision to improve the living conditions of the people of Kurdistan, away from national slogans."

The leader of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan, Karwan Anwar, had confirmed in a previous statement to "Al-Maalouma" that the wrong economic policies of Barzani's party had caused many financial crises in the northern provinces.   link

Tishwash:  Deputy Calls For Changing Iraqi Bank Officials For Those Who Held Their Positions More Than 5 Years Ago

MP Mudar Al-Karawi called, on Friday, to change officials of Iraqi banks for those who held their positions more than 5 years ago.

Al-Karawi said in an interview with "Information", "The economic crisis that Iraq is going through requires fundamental changes in dealing with it, especially the file of government banks by changing their management from those who held their positions for more than 5 consecutive years."

Al-Karawi added, “Changing bank officials and representatives of the General Administration of Rafidain Bank is a necessity and a step in the right direction, while giving an opportunity for competencies to take positions that push the economic framework forward and a change in the state’s financial policy in a manner that serves the public interest.”

He pointed out that "Iraq is suffering from a major economic crisis and poses a challenge to large groups, pointing out that the change in banking work, especially administrations, is a step in the right direction."

Tishwash:  After agreeing on the increase, OPEC reveals the share of Iraq's oil production in June

OPEC revealed the share of Iraq's oil production, which will reach 4.509 million barrels per day during the month of June, after agreeing to increase 432 thousand barrels per day.

The organization stated, "The production quota for Iraq for the month of June was set at 4.509 million barrels per day, an increase of 4.8 thousand barrels per day over the month of May, which amounted to 4.461 million barrels per day, and an increase of 95 thousand barrels per day over last April."

And she indicated that "Iraq was the second largest producer in the organization after Saudi Arabia, and the third largest producer in OPEC + after Saudi Arabia and Russia."

She noted that "the production of Saudi Arabia and Russia was set at 10.663 million barrels per day for each of them during the month of June, an increase of about 114 thousand barrels per day over the current month of May.   link
