Al-Jubouri Suggests That The Sovereignty And Kurdistan Democratic Blocs Will Not Participate In Monday's Session

Political | 02:20 - 05/02/2022 Baghdad - Mawazine News, a member of the House of Representatives, Mishaan al-Jubouri, suggested, on Saturday, that the Sovereignty and Kurdistan Democratic blocs would not attend the parliament session on Monday dedicated to electing the President of the Republic.

Al-Jubouri wrote in a tweet on the (Twitter) platform, "After the sudden decision of the current not to participate in the session of electing the President of the Republic, it is likely that the Sovereignty and Kurdistan Democratic blocs will not attend the session, and thus the quorum will not be achieved for it and we will enter the unprecedented constitutional vacuum stage! "

The Iraqi Stock Exchange Reveals The Volume Of Its Trading Last Month

Economie|  05/02/2022   Baghdad - Mawazine News  The Iraqi Stock Exchange announced, on Saturday, that 45 billion shares were traded, with a financial value of more than 48 billion dinars, during the month of January.

The market stated in a report seen by / Mawazine News /, that "the number of companies whose shares were traded during last January amounted to 58 joint-stock companies, while the shares of 25 companies were not traded due to the difference in the prices offered from those required by investors, while 20 companies continue to be suspended for not providing disclosure out of 103 companies listed on the market.

He added that "the number of traded shares amounted to 45 billion and 374 million and 109 thousand shares with a financial value of 48 billion and 610 million dinars through the implementation of 11599 deals," noting that "the ISX60 traded price index closed at 577.4 points."

He pointed out that "the number of shares purchased from non-Iraqi investors for the month of January amounted to 1.225 billion shares, with a financial value of 1.492 billion dinars, through the circulation of 12 joint stock companies, while the number of shares sold from non-Iraqi investors reached 2.342 billion shares, with a financial value of 2.921 billion dinars from During the circulation of 23 joint stock companies. The head of the Supreme Judicial Council, Judge Faiq Zaidan, confirmed today, Saturday, that the Iraqis are looking forward to the stage of reform and reconstruction.

Al-Sadr Bloc: We Affirm The Formation Of A Reformist Majority National Government

Economist: Al-Hakim's Call To Activate The Chinese Agreement, A Renewal Of Political And Popular Will

Posted On2022-02-05 By Sotaliraq   Economic expert Diaa Mohsen considered, on Saturday, the call of the head of the Wisdom Movement, Ammar al-Hakim, to activate the Chinese agreements and the Silk Road as a "good step", noting that al-Hakim's statements are considered a renewal of the political and popular will, indicating that there are still some political forces that stand against their implementation.

Mohsen said in a statement, "The only opportunity to restore infrastructure and develop investments in all economic sectors lies in implementing Chinese agreements and placing them within the program of the next government."

He added, "Al-Hakim's call for the next government to activate the Chinese agreements and the Silk Road with a good step and a renewal of the political and popular will that will bring to Iraq great economic gains away from American pressures and the International Monetary Fund," noting that "there are still some political forces that stand against their implementation."

Al-Kazemi’s Advisor Reveals The Fate Of Salaries, Pensions And Grants In 2022

Saleh said, in a press statement, that "the effective financial management law is one of its first tasks to secure the actual current expenses with an average exchange base of 1/12." 

He added, "It is an important mechanism that guarantees payments of a recurring, actual nature, specifically salaries, wages, government grants, pensions, and social welfare without interruption, even if the approval of the budget is delayed."

He added, "The adoption of the Federal General Budget Law for the year 2022 is a fundamental goal in planning economic policy and its essential pillar, as it is linked to the issue of growth in the economy."

He explained, "The budget has an important function, which is to ensure the achievement of a prosperous level of GDP that exceeds the annual population growth, and this can only be achieved by advancing the added or new production capacities approved by the investment budget towards income-generating and employment projects."   LINK
